I am a huge Fan of Tina Fey, and Steve Carell from “The Office” is hysterical, so there is no doubt that I’ll be going to see Date Night Movie after it’s release on April 9th, 2010. I almost never get to go to the movies because my hectic travel schedule, but every time I see the trailers for this movie I laugh so it definitely has my attention.
The plot centers around a couple out for a weekly date night who wind up getting into a ton of trouble. I love the scene in the extended promo with Tina and Steve dancing in the strip club and Steve licks the stripper pole—I literally gagged the first time I saw it in the trailer. LOL And, Mark Wahlburg? Are you kidding me? He looks amazing and the character he is playing is such a nice departure from his other, more serious roles.
I’m usually the first one in the group to veto these types of movies, but I will honestly admit that I think it has potential and I’m looking forward to seeing it. Check out the trailer and let me know if you want to go see the movie on opening weekend with me.Here’s the trailer:
